The
2010 EXCA World Championship promises to be an exciting competition as
it brings the best of the best from across the United States and Canada
going head to head with the goal of winning the title of EXCA World
Champion!
You will find
the 2010 EXCA World Championship entry form on the EXCA website,
www.extremecowboyassociation.com. You may fill out the entry form online
and submit it and your fees electronically or you can print the form and send
your completed entry form and fees to: EXCA, P.O. Box 50, Bluff Dale, TX,
76433. All fees for the 2010 World Championship are listed on the entry form.
We have two
host hotels this year. The Capital Plaza Hotel is located adjacent to the
Expocentre. The room rate is discounted for EXCA at a rate of $69 per night +
taxes. The phone number for the Capital Plaza is 785-431-7200. The Ramada
Hotel and Convention Center is located at 420 SE 6th Street (about 10
minutes from the Expocentre) and is also offering a discounted room rate of
$69.00 + tax. They will also provide a free hot breakfast every morning and two
free drinks each evening when you return from the Expocentre. Be sure to ask
for the Extreme Cowboy Race rate when you call either hotel.
If you plan
to stay in your LQ trailer, the electrical hook ups are available in the parking
lot adjacent to the Expocentre. 20 amps is $15 per day and 50 amps is $20 per
day. When you are ready to plug in, just pick your plug in and the Expocentre
Security Guard will come to you with your permit and to collect your plug in
fee.
Check-in is
required
and is scheduled for Thursday prior to the race beginning on Friday. If you
need to arrive on Wednesday, you may do so, but there will be an additional $17
for the stall, payable directly to the Expocentre. The show office will not be
open for organized check in until Thursday morning at 9:00 A.M. If you need to
arrive on Wednesday, please contact the EXCA office (254-595-2393) to find out
your stall assignment. When you check in be sure to have a current Coggins for
your horse. You will receive a wristband to wear for the duration of the show
and you will also receive one additional wristband if you have a traveling
partner. If you have more than one traveling partner, they will be required to
purchase a wristband for the show.
There will be
a contestants meeting on Thursday evening at 7:30 in the show arena. The
schedule and general guidelines for the World Championship will be discussed at
this meeting. Please make your plans to attend this meeting.
