The National Advisory Board (The NAB) is

“The Official Voice of the Extreme Cowboy Association Cardholders”

The primary purpose of the Extreme Cowboy Association is to oversee and administer the sport of Extreme Cowboy Racing for all EXCA Cardholders.

The EXCA Board of Directors understands for this to be effective, we must establish an easy way to dialogue with EXCA Cardholders throughout the United States. To facilitate this, the EXCA Board of Directors created a National Advisory Board, with a minimum of at least one NAB representative in each of the 14 Regions across the United States. The NAB is charged to do the following:

·         Establish an easy and effective way for every EXCA Cardholder to freely communicate ideas, opinions or complaints on the sport of Extreme Cowboy Racing.

·         Establish a way for all EXCA Cardholders input to be seriously heard and considered by all members of the NAB and the EXCA Board of Directors.

·         Make certain that EXCA Cardholder input is responded to, or acted upon, by either the NAB or the EXCA Board of Directors.

·         Each NAB representative must:

Ø      Be a current Cardholder in the EXCA.

Ø      Must be appointed by the EXCA Board of Directors

Ø      Must be committed to fulfill the following responsibilities:

·         To communicate at least monthly with each Club representative in their Region.

·         To know and understand current EXCA rules.

·         To make sure all sanctioned EXCA Events in their Region follow EXCA rules.

·         To attend as many EXCA sanctioned events in their Region as possible.

·         To assist the start up efforts of new EXCA Clubs within their Region.

·         To communicate their Region news and concerns to the EXCA office in a timely manner.

·         To assist Club efforts to grow and facilitate the sport of Extreme Cowboy Racing within their Region.

·         To serve their Region for the appointed term of one year.
